What does “verified” mean?

Source-confirmed listings have a date and distance in an official registration feed. Organizer-checked listings have been individually checked against organizer materials. Neither guarantees an event will take place or that entry is still available. Unverified leads need organizer confirmation. Unknown is never treated as zero or “no.”

How do we measure competitiveness?

Where verified results exist, we show the mean of the top three male and female overall clock times, per distance and year, together with the published finisher count. Lower times indicate a faster front of the field for that distance; finisher count describes field size, not ability. We do not score or rank dissimilar distances, terrain or weather together. Age-group times follow the organizer's divisions; overall winners may be excluded from age-group awards.

Historical weather & recommendations

Weather is attached only to a known past edition date. NASA POWER data are daily, regional gridded estimates, not measurements at the start line or during race hours. Daily precipitation does not prove it rained during the race, and no precipitation does not prove it was sunny. Unverified past dates and sky conditions are shown as unavailable. Clothing suggestions are general guidance, not a weather forecast.
